The funding was split between the Devonport Live Winter Wonderland, Efford Christmas Bonanza and Tamar View Christmas Cracker.
Funding helped provided face painting, hot dogs, mince pies and drinks. These festive events bring communities together and give residents the opportunity to network with our partners.
About the Tamar View Christmas Cracker Justine Cheffers our LiveWest Community Connector in Plymouth said: ‘’Thank you to Tamar View Community Centre for hosting the annual Christmas Cracker. It was excellent that LiveWest customers could enjoy free activities and engage with local services. As the largest social housing provider in the South West we are always happy to come along as a key partner to these types of events.’’
Justine had this to say about providing funding for the Devonport Live Winter Wonderland: ‘‘Devonport is one of our key neighbourhoods in focus. We hope everyone who attended Devonport Live Winter Wonderland enjoyed the food and drinks. It’s important that these events remain free for families in Devonport to enjoy and can have their picture taken together in the Santa’s igloo as we know this this can be an expensive time of year.’’
Justine showed her support for the Efford Christmas Bonanza and said: ‘’This event benefits LiveWest families in Efford. It was a great idea which boosted community engagement and meant customers could meet our partners. We look forward to even more partnership work with the Efford Community Forum next year.’’
