Jack completes work experience with the Communications team at LiveWest

Year 10 student Jack Taylor has completed his work experience with the Communications team at LiveWest.
Jack Taylor

Jack, 15, chose to do work experience with our Communications team because he enjoys writing and wanted to use his writing skills in his work.

Jack has always had an ambition for writing from a young age but felt he rarely had the free time to practise his writing skills.

That was until work experience was announced by his school and he decided to join our Communications team for a week, as he felt the team would be a good fit for him to explore different areas of writing.

The work experience took place from 6 June to 10 June 2022.

While doing his work experience, Jack had the chance to help out with a variety of communications, including internal, digital and press and PR, working closely with the Communications team to create content.

Jack said “Working at LiveWest has been much better than I thought it was going to be, and I would be happy to work here again.

“All members of the Communications team are lovely, and I would recommend anyone interested in communications or writing to try out working in comms here at LiveWest.”

Director of Communications, Bernice Williams, said “Jack has been hard working here at LiveWest and he was a pleasure to be with, I would be happy for him to work with us again.”
