Are you thinking about applying for an apprenticeship?

We sat down with Fin Walker, Trainee Quantity Surveyor and spoke to him about his experience as a LiveWest apprentice. Read on to find out more.

Fin said: ''I applied for a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Construction with LiveWest and completed that. After two years, I was offered the opportunity to join a Level 6 Apprenticeship, which is a part time degree.

''I really like the people here and it’s a nice place. They nurture people, look at talent and push talent through the organisation.

''I would describe my apprenticeship as a brilliant opportunity. It means I apply what I learn in the classroom at university to the workplace. I'm in the real world, meeting and talking to people.

''The support that LiveWest give their apprentices is amazing. They provide you with somebody to talk to and there are many points of contact within the organisation that will help you out if you ever have any questions. On top of that they sponsor you to complete your apprenticeship and further your development.''
