100% affordable housing scheme completes in Four Lanes, Cornwall

We have joined forces with Kier Living to celebrate the completion of one of one of our first own build developments which sees 32 new affordable rented homes being built in Four Lanes, Cornwall.
Completion of Four Lanes

Rob Cock, Senior Development Manager from LiveWestsaid: “This is a truly affordable housing scheme for local people in an area where many residents are finding themselves priced out of the market. We have worked closely with Kier Living on previous sites and this is another example of successful partnership working to bring much-needed homes to Cornwall.”

Over the past two years, the former scrubland has been transformed to provide the 32 affordable rented homes which have seen a £581,600 investment from the Homes England.

Peter Sadler, Regional Director at Kier Living said“We are delighted to have completed this unique project having worked collaboratively with LiveWest, the site team has worked exceptionally hard and that shows in the finished product; homes which both Kier Living and LiveWest can both be proud of.”

Kier Living, who have developed the scheme have been engaging with the local Penkoys primary school next door; engaging with the children through school assemblies and accompanied visits to the site to learn about the construction process and ecology matters. In addition to this, the primary school also picked up one of the road names, Hope Corner.

The gathering at the new homes at Bray Rise provided an opportunity for all members of the design and construction team to celebrate the prestigious project. Since completion, the site team has received notification that site Manager, Ben Noakes has been awarded the NHBC Pride In The Job for the Four Lanes scheme. This is the first time any Kier Living South West project has achieved such an admired housing industry award.
