My benefits have stopped, and I need help
You may have been declined a benefit due to attending a medical assessment and the outcome not being in your favour. When this happens, you can ask the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to look at their decision again. This is called a mandatory reconsideration. You can ask for this over the telephone or in writing. If it is still declined, you can appeal the decision, and your case will be heard by an independent tribunal. This can be a lengthy process.
If you would like to discuss your circumstances and see if we are able to help you with this, please contact our Tenancy Sustainment team.
